David,
I actually did what you did, not too long ago...
Then I just gave up. It's just not so practical...
I used to have Pentax LX*2 ME Super, Program Plus, Auto 110, Canon
Canonet, Konica S2, Yashica Electro35GT, Yashica Flasher, Contax T3.
Some of them are classics and all of them in excellent working order.
But I then sold most of them. Because I just don't use them all and I
feel sorry for them just sitting there... because I really just like
using LX and DS
I actually prefer collecting Pentax lenses... I can use them in
rotation.

Subject: NOW: Collecting Cameras WAS: Death Of An MX

I had given some thought to this.. and what with the "impending death of
film" *snort*.. I thought it woudl be "neat" to collect some film
cameras
that I have used or enjoyed using in the past and displaying them as
suggested many times over on the list.. in a cabinet.

I have, currently, what I consider to be 4 "classic" cameras that can
all
still be used with film. My Canonet QL 17 GIII, Olympus XA, Contax T2,
and
the K1000 - all in relatively "good" condition and quite useable.

I was wondering if anyone else has thought of this or done it and if
so..
what have you got waiting to be, or being, displayed at your place?

Curious as always,
Dave
