The problem I had with my DMD was that when I pushed down gently on the
shutter release the meter would not stay in the "On" position.  I took it in
to a local shop that is an authorize repair facility for Pentax and they
CLA'd it for $125.00, but that was a few years ago.
Also, I took in an ESII but they refused to take it.  Essex Camera Repair in
New Jersey accepted it and refurbished it.
