It's a bit strange. The Nikon does move the CCD, not the film during
the scanning. Which is good, because thus it offers genuine
multisampling. OTOH it doesn't have film holders, it just has a slot
you feed the film into, and then the wheels catch it and feed it
into the scanner's bowels.
What a truly disgusting design. Are they all like that?
