Ya, Rob, you are right about that.  Also, most of them
(maybe all) take several seconds to make an exposure.  But,
like just about all electronics today if you can buy it it
is obsolete <grin>.  I understand the old three pass
scanning backs are being replaced by one pass backs.  That
is an improvement. I have read of a guy that does location
photos with one of these things tethered to a high-end
laptop.  The clouds stream across the images do to their
motion.
