I use the X's-Drive II VP2600 (@ 40 GB). It will transfer most memory cards,
is relatively inexpensive for this type of thing (approx $225 IIRC) &
compact. A drawback is that there is no way to review images (I do a simple
edit in the camera after a days shooting & then download to the X drive).
Works on AC/DC.
