Another option is the Sigma EF 500 DG super. You get P-TTL, high speed
synch and a guide number of 160 at 105mm, which is quite a bit more pop
than the AF360 FTZ.. B&H sells it for $199.95. I ordered one just the
other day and expect it today. I prveiously had the Sigma EF 500 DG ST,
which is equally powerful but has no bells and whistles. Not as well
made as my Pentax AF400T, which I will continue to use for a lot of
things, but it's decent.

Having used an AF500FTZ a few times I am considering buying one. It's
essentially the tried and proven workhorse among Pentax's nicer
flashes. And you can find them on eBay for under $200 sometimes.
But then along comes the AF360FGZ, with its P-TTL metering
compatibility, wider field of coverage, and other shiny new features,
I'm kind of torn.
Can anyone who has used both comment on differences, and pros/cons of
each?
