=SIGH!!!=

Ten years and two days ago, our family of four arrived
in the UK for a four-month sabbatical. My wife spent
the time mostly at the Bodleian, doing research for a
book (she's a historian), and I worked in a lab at
Oxford-Radcliffe Hospital (whose architecture a friend
described as "the world's largest lavatory wall"). We
lived in Faringdon, small town about 30km south, and
our kids (6 and 10,then) went to the local schools.

I also shot 65 rolls of Ektachrome in 4 months! It
was a fabulous, magical, interesting, incredibly
rejuvenating time.

Mark, you've inspired me to dig out the binders from
that trip.  Thanks!

Very nice image, too, BTW. If I had USD1000 to burn,
I'd get a tilt-shift lens to make William happy, but I
disagree with him about using B&W.

Geez, Cotty, (if you read this) I can't help envying
your living and shooting in that area.

Rick
