Hehehe, since I asked her to clarify if it's a JOBO product or not, I am not
hearing anything. It's possible it *was* a JOBO product, but is no longer.
Possible.

The ImageTank G2 was given a good review (a while back, a year or more
probably) at dpreview and they called it a JOBO then. It may now be another
company.
Mydigitaldiscount is still selling them even though there are newer models --
at a cheap price so they look good.

But don't be tempted.

I can badmouth the ImageTank G2 in particular, even if there is some
confusion about who sells it as their product.

DON'T GET AN IMAGE TANK G2.

1. No review screen. Well, I figured I could live without one. No problem.
2. The menus are terrible, very unclear. You have to look at the manual each
time to refresh your memory to copy from the FC to the drive, rather than to
mistakenly erase the FC.
3. The buttons on the front are soft, like rubber or soft plastic, and this
means you have to press HARD to move from one menu choice to another. About 1/2
of the time you think you are doing it wrong and you just aren't pressing
hard enough.
4. The on/off button doesn't always turn it off. It's partly recessed and you
almost have to get a pen to press down on it to make sure it turns off.
(Battery life.)
5. Battery life is very poor.
6. But the biggest problem is that the slot for the card is too big.
Yesterday in the sunlight, not quite seeing what I was doing, I put it in wrong
(holes
up, not down), and the card actually fell into the machine. I didn't realize
the slot was soooooo big that the card could disappear inside the inner
workings. I managed to pull it out and I copied and everything seemed to work,
but
that is probably why it is shot today.

THE IMAGETANK G2 IS EXTREMELY POORLY MADE. AVOID. AND AT LEAST ONCE UPON A
TIME IT WAS A JOBO PRODUCT, BUT THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT NOW. (And it
may still sell under the JOBO name even now at various places.)

Marnie I think that is a fairly good job of bad mouthing.
