Nah, that's wrong. Creativity is almost all inspiration, I'd say about 90%. 10% perspiration, maybe a bit more if you're St. Ansel, lugging LF gear up mountain tops, or if you're shooting on the street during the dog-days of August <g>.

I think your equation should be, "financial succes in the arts is 10%
creativity and 90% marketing".  <vbg>

10% I'd say less than 5% based on some of  the stuff I've seen.
