The Sigma has bounce and swivel (unlike the 360) and has P-TTL (unlike the AF500) which is supposed to be better for the digital bodies. Mr. Robb and others complain of very inconsistent exposures using flash on the *ist D. Unlike Mr. Robb, there are some on this list who have had NO ISSUES with flash on the *ist D.
