When you get the replacement (apprx $32.00 US), run, don't walk, to the 
nearest pharmacy and find the small rubber bands in the hair care 
department.  They are even available in black and will hold the eyecup in 
place.

         I knew this would happen. I lost my eye cup for the istD.
