Too true, my A50/2.8 gets far more of a work-out than my 125 and 200mm macro
lenses day to day, it's also far easier to focus than would reasonably be
expected.

I've got a lot of macro kit (toys) however when going mobile I generally tend
towards a single lens or a lens an TC kit. Tubes, rails, flash accessories,
reflectors, reversed lenses are for playing in a studio environment or
alternately for very slow and deliberate shooting in the field.

Boris, get a cheap A50/2.8, play with it for a while, sell it if it doesn't
work for you, I predict you'll keep it though.
