Wouldn't you want more MP with a larger or less noisy sensor?  Is
technology to the point where we can get more MP in the same size sensor
with comparable or less noise?  A faster buffer might be nice, although I
didn't mind the wait too much when I made a few shots in rapid succession
with Bruce's camera, although I can see where it might annoy some people in
some circumstances.
