You can do a lot of that in the conversion, Shel, but you might still have to
do some of it in PS.
We all do. High learning curve these days with digital.

Buy, read and understand Bruce Fraser's "Real World Camera Raw". That alone should do about two-thirds of what I see most PS courses blundering about on.
