Became very occasional to nil. I can't help but taking the Leica along
on trips, but it rarely gets used. It did take me a couple of months
to get used to doing street photography with a non-mechanical camera.

Kind of. A couple of rolls I took in the Leica in London (while my 2GB
card downloaded to the ipod) were dissapointing. I suppose the
pictures weren't worse than the istD ones, but the time delay in
seeing them made them less worth the effort.

I got the 16-45 with the body, and then bought an A35-70/4 to replace
my FA28-70/4 with the separated elements. The main lens in it is the
FA35/2, which I've had for years.
