Ah, the Nikon F2 ... I agree, one of the very best mechanical 35mm SLRs ever made. Built like a tank for sure, weighs like one too. I had Nikon F, F2 and F3/T in the top end Nikon line. They were all brilliant. Then the F4 came out and I was turned off .. too too big and heavy. In the end, I preferred the FM/FE line. Much lighter, easier to carry, very nearly as rugged (particularly the FM2).
But I'm in the same mode as Jens: I'm selling off everything I don't actually use. And lately, that is only the Pentax *istDS. All my medium format kit is already gone.
