I'm there with John. The *istD works great for everything I do. My clients are more than happy with my photos, as are the reps I've worked with. The faster, larger buffer is about the only thing that would help me work better. I rarely shoot anything extremely wide, so full frame is no big advantage.

I'm quite happy with my *ist-D, and plan to continue using it for a
while.  I'm not worrying about MP; by the time there's a new Pentax
DSLR I expect MP, buffer size, frame rate, etc. will all improve.
I'd be more likely to pick up a new DSLR if it came with some new
technological features (USM, IS, wireless connectivity, ...). But
for now I'll just carry on using my *ist-D, and evaluate any new
DSLR when Pentax announce it (which I don't expect to be inside a
year, with another six months before customer availability.
