I purchased Photoshop Elements 3 primarily for its ability to handle Pentax RAW files - it includes Adobe Camera Raw. It's not quite as flexible as the version in CS - closer to the version in Photoshop 7 - but it's a whole lot better than shooting JPEGs. There's a free 30-day download available at adobe.com, so you can try it first to see if you want to actually purchase a copy.
