The Sigma 100-300 mm lens that came with my MZ50 had a fatal accident today.
Any suggestions for a replacement for <$AU1000?
It's not a pro-quality lens, but I'm pleasantly surprised at how nice the image quality is with the Pentax F100-300/4.5-5.6 that I bought for US$80. It's also a reasonably handy size and seems to focus well even in relatively low light. It gets a bit soft at the full focal length unless stopped down to f/11 or so, but for my needs it will likely do well enough.
