Makers of outdoor/camping equipment would be a good source of info on where to buy small quantities of ripstop Nylon. It is used to make tents, fly sheets, etc. I'd be trying a place that sells custom made canvas goods, sunshades and similar items, or perhaps a sailmaker. -- Peter Williams
