worth my time to bother with.
You can always ignore the majority. You're not forced to use the software
just because it's free. There's plenty of high quality free software that
works.
That's no different from Mac OS. Despite a smaller number of titles, there's a greater percentage of high quality free software… there's less junk to filter through to find the good stuff.
And there are no viruses to speak of.
