What have tabloid reporters got to do with photojournalists?

They present themselves as photojournalists, and a lot of people think they are photojournalists.
This makes them especially dangerous.


I've noticed quite a trend over the past couple of decades in the media. A lot of what can be described kindly as opinion pieces, or unkindly as outright propoganda is finding it's way into the news and being presented as news, rather than what it really is.


You might just as well say paparazzi represent glamour photographers.

I've seen some pretty galamourous pictures of the Two Headed Bat Boy in the Enquirer to be sure.
