Are you sure you've got that right? Only 1GB total disk space? I've got around 25GB just of images on my notebook (60GB drive), and a 100GB USB drive with a few more images.
No, I did _not_ say my total hard drive was 1GB! I said I'd worry at less than 10%, or 100MB: no relation between the two. 100 Mb is still plenty of room for document storage, but not enough for many applications appetite for temporary file space. A drive filled to 90% is likely to be a PIA to work with anyway, and it would be time to cull it or replace it.
