Try swapping the ports so the mouse is in the port used by the *istD
and the D is in the port used by the mouse.

No luck

Too little available memory on your harddrive/RAM??!!

No, I have plenty of it!

I had this sort of problem as well Andre, that said I also had problems with
the USB printer jamming up the mouse when it went into action as well. I
tried switching ports, cables, updating drivers and checked motherboard IEQ
and interrupts until I was blue in the face but all to no availe - but by
all means try :-)

Same as me...

In the end I stopped messing about and bought a fast USB 2.0 4 port card and
plugged everything except the mouse in to that. Worked like a dream, runs
much faster than the USB 1 on the motherboard, and only cost me 15.

Rob.

I did exactly that as I finally understood that I broke the PC plug of my ist D. Probably cheaper to use the reader than having the plug changed...
