Speaking of flashy, this is the horror that Pontiac was developing as the new GTO, before the Monaro took over: http://tinyurl.com/dgacd In my mind's eye, I see a red LED scanning to and fro behind the headlamp covers, and an urbane voice murmuring, "and where will we be going now, Michael". And please don't gleefully correct me that I'm referring to a Firebird, I know that. Didn't the last GTOs share bodywork with Firebirds? Fact is that the most famous GTOs had their own look and were not badge engineered Camaros or Firebirds. If you're going to produce a nostalgia model, at least style it after the most memorable versions. regards, Anthony Farr
