Digital backs are not a dead end IFAIC. I see more and more Hassies with an Imacon back at press conferences etc. Jens

The last 40 years all major manufacturers have made state of the art lenses as long as you were willing to pay for them. Nowadays Nikon is the most valued camera brand name. Canon is way more worth in market recognition than Contax. As the 645 market is rapidly shrinking and the digita back is a dead end, this is definitely a case of rest in piece.
