It's best to contact your local Pentax distributor for answer. Some countries like
Japan & Canada are rather forgiving on warranty, so long as the original invoice was
presented. They couldn't care less about the warranty card.
Expansion/Synopsis:
- I already sent the Pentax US page on warranty ... they have a specific policy with regards to supplying the International Warranty paperwork which you need to know.
- Check with the Pentax distributor where you live to determine what their policy is regarding warranty service on equipment purchased out of their distribution domain.
That covers you on both ends of the game.
