I think we could all say the same thing about many things we owned
back then.  The problem would be keeping them New In Boxes.  The
damned things were played with 'til the paint wore off them, the
wheels fell off and the hair pulled out.

I had many original Hot Wheels, along the the wheel-shaped carrying
case.  If they were mint, do you know what they'd be worth?  If they
were still in the box, they'd be worth hundreds each - and I had
dozens of them.

Same thing with my sister and all her Barbies, Skippers, Scooters and
the rest of the Barbie family.  Problem is, she gave them haircuts,
their arms fell off, etc. etc.  IIRC, I may have helped with the
pulling off of arms and legs...  <vbg>

Hindsight is 20/20, eh?
