Of course... for the most part, I'll agree. I *am* trying to compare field of view and lens quality between two specific lenses, though. Also, it might be useful to note that I plan on doing some panoramic stitching, too. For a 360 degree panorama, it's useful to know the FOV to know how many shots you'll need to glue together.Sorry, I couldn't resist. I know these discussions are meaningful to some people, and I don't mean to disparage those to who find such things important and interesting.
I was, of course, joking around, and I'm glad that you saw it in the spirit intended.
... I'm also thinking astrophotography. I used to use a 28mm wideangle on my 35mm for photographing Aurora.
