The three hands at the middle-left.
All quite different, all doing different things. But, very important to the image, the "shot."
The girl is beautiful...
Nice face indeed. You could look at it all day. Okay, *I* could...
Her friend is maintaining his "cool," protecting his property, hand on her thigh, keeping the growl alive...
The feeling is mutually acceptable, seems to me.
Then there's the black lady (or "person of color"?) just beyond. Interesting hand, all by itself.
On reflection, it could be a guy...hard to say. Still, an interesting element of the whole...
Commands attention, even tho it's a very small part of the "scene."
On the left, a BIG guy, hidden among the shadows. I totally missed him until I blew the image up. All of a sudden, there he is!
Looking at him, the guy at the far left in the light, fades away. Now, it's the guy in the shadows that's assuming the visual interest, now that I know he's there! Odd, eh what?
Lots of stuff in that image! I like it.

Hi Bob ...
That's a good observation. Originally I thought that might have been a
problem, but after repeated viewings I just don't actually get that
reaction. I mean, when I look at the pic objectively, with a critical eye
towards imperfections, I think that it should bother me, but it doesn't. It may be, that, for me, he's balanced somewhat by the dark jacket worn by
the woman on the right.

Shel,
that's a very well-caught moment. Unfortunately for me, the man on the extreme left with his back to the camera is very distracting. That dark space unbalances the composition and keeps pulling my eye over and away
from
the other people.
