I could afford an excellent colour darkroom set up but there is no way I would
ever consider it. I don't wish to be in contact with the chemistry involved, I
don't like to have to work in a small dark environment for hours and I really
don't have the room. On top of that I use my computer and all the peripherals
that I've amassed to improve my imaging process for so many other things.

Even setting up a temporary B&W darkroom though relatively inexpensive requires
dedication and compromises that unless you live alone or in a huge house can
cause all sorts of inconveniences and problems for the others around you. It's
just not always so cut and dried.
