It has been mentioned here before that there is an internal counter that would indicate the actual number of shutter cycles/images taken with the *istD. Seeing how I have two bodies and both have cycled past the 10K mark, I am quite curious to know the exact count on each. I found shortly after getting my second body that keeping any consecutive numbering scheme was going to be problematic, so both bodies reset the image numbering to 1 for each fresh card. I rename them for the based on the job as they are imported into the computer.
So does anyone actually know how to get the shutter cycle count from an *istD? Thanks, Bruce
