The DS is faster if you want to shoot pictures continuously.

Seem both are about the same price. I do not have any compact flash so I don't care. I have old lenses so TTL buil-tin flash would be nice. Vertical grip/ battery grip would be nice too.

Other than that. I do not see why choosing the D ?
