Sounds like a pointless argument between you two. Christian evaluated his needs/desires and decided that Canon served them better. Pal and others (myself included) have not felt the need/desire to move to Canon. Leave it at that.
Certainly what remains to be seen is how comfortably Christian will fit with this list long term. Cotty has remained but has dabbled in using older Pentax lenses with his Canon body. TV switched to Canon and has gradually left the list. My feeling is that unless you are a Pentax user in some sense, your interests, along with interest from others on the list, will wane. I do believe that is one of the considerations that should be taken into account when leaving the Pentax fold. Seeing as this is a list for Pentax users, obviously, we are going to be interested in things Pentax and be PRO Pentax, for the most part. That isn't to say that we won't talk about any other brands, but those discussions are generally not very deep and not long lived. Basically due to lack of interest on the part of the list. Christian, you have chosen a fine camera and system and I'm sure it will work out well for you. Hang around as long as you like - sorry if the content may start to get dull and boring, but I am sure there are plenty of lists around that will fill your needs concerning Canon gear and talk. Let's move on now. -- Best regards, Bruce Tuesday, May 3, 2005, 12:15:02 PM, you wrote: C> ----- Original Message ----- C> From: "Pl Jensen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> C> To: <[email protected]> C> Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2005 2:49 PM C> Subject: Re: Why and How I switched to Canon (for those who care) long >> It is not speculation but a published fact.
