Hi Peter ... I'm not sure what it is either. I spent an afternoon wandering around the SF MOMA, in part photographing a number of abstractions, shapes, and shadows, mostly just playing with the light. This may have been looking up a stairwell towards a skylight, but I honestly don't recall for sure. Anyway, it's not a photograph of "what" but, rather, just a little interpretation of the light.
