Hmmm... looks like the DA 16-45 was out of focus (at least when set to 40mm), don't you think? I never got shots that soft with it.

after having bought a new DA-40 Pancake, I thought to compare it with my
DA-16-45. Also I picked an M-28 an did the same @ 28mm. The results are

a relaxed examination of the pics...

All shots tripod used, Pre-Mirror, three 100%-Crops form the left,
middle and right part of the pics. Each shot wit f4 and f8.

Can anyone explain the quite bad results of the 16-45?

Any other comments?
