Something I discovered when I bought my istD was that there were a whole bunch of lenses I had previously disliked tha all of a sudden became nice lenses.
I have learned to like the much hated 28mm range enough to have bought a 31mm (it's pretty close in actual FL), never had much use for the 35mm, but I liked the A35/2 enough that I bought the AF 35/2.
I never liked the A50/1.2 very much until I bought my istD.
Even my 77, which wasn't well suited to what I bought it for has become a nice lens on the digital.
OTOH, there are a few lenses which I like on 35mm that I don't have much use for on the digital. The A20/2.8 doesn't do much for me any more. I don't like the AOV it presents on the istD.
However, I still shoot film.
