I use Photoshop CS with the Camera Raw plug-in for my DS, and I'm happy with it. Photoshop Elements v3 is under $100, uses the same RAW plug-in, and allows pretty good [EMAIL PROTECTED] editing support.
Some people prefer Phase One "Capture One" for RAW processing. The latest version, v3.7, just shipped and includes support for the DS. You can download a copy for 30 day trial evaluation. I'm going to give it a shot too.
There are many other choices for image processing and editing, of course. I've tried a lot of them but I seem to always return to Photoshop.
