The 77 Ltd seems to be a very nice lens. I had the 31 Ltd and it was a 
stunning performer, just a bit larger/heavier than I'd prefer, but the 
77 seems compact on the same order as the M85/2 I've already got.

Perhaps if I run into another windfall I'll look into the 77mm.
Personally, I could care less about whether a lens is silver or black. 
Either looks fine on the DS to me. I'm more interested in what the lens 
sees than in how I see the lens. :-)
