LOL. I'm more interested in deleting threads I'm not interested in and being able to find interesting discussion now.

In Santa Cruz itself, there's the Santa Cruz Roasting Company (John Francis, that's the one I couldn't remember the name of...). I think the website is
http://www.santacruzcoffee.com

A quick search with Google.com for "santa cruz roasting company" brings up several other options, like Java Bob's Coffee Roasting Company, but I'm not as familiar with them.

I'm out of town as of next Tuesday, but if you're in the Santa Cruz/San Jose area this week, we could meet for a laugh and a cup (time depending, of course). I'll even buy. ;-)

You go changing the subject line like that it makes it harder for future historians to chart the meanderings of the PDML group mind, buster!

I'm actually going to be in Caulifornia (near Santa Cruz) for the next two weeks. Any good tips on getting good coffee? I've got a pound of my own roasted up and ready to go, but any more would go beyond mere fanaticism, besides getting a little old by the end of the trip :-)

My brother roasts his own, and I love sampling the different blends available at the small roasting companies near me (there are four). I haven't yet jumped over the fence to the true fanaticism of the home roaster.
