regards, Anthony Farr =========== It bothered me a bit too. It's a very sort of surreal scene, squares, water, and smack in the middle a man with a cell phone (well, off to one side). Nice contrast between the background serenity and his concentration on something that is probably not serene. But the swimmer brings it back to reality, making the background less surreal. Anyway, Rick can answer you why he thought it should be removed, but that's my take on it. I decided it was okay with the swimmer, but it might be better without it/him/her.
