How big is the P-2000? I'm leaving for Spain next Sunday, for two
months of backpacking, mostly in Spain, but with an escape to Poland
and the Czech Republic.

I'm taking:

ist D
K24/3.5
FA35/2
FA50/1.7 or A50/1.4
FA16-45/4
A35-70/4
M100/2.8

I do have a base in Madrid, and for the multiple backpacking trips
from there I'll probably just take the FA35 and both zooms.

Plus the Compactdrive PD7X with an 80GB drive, and the Powerbook with
about 15-20GB free. And 3GB worth of cards, 2BG and 1GB, and three
sets of rechargable AAs.

And, just in case I run into a strong electromagnetic pulse, the M6
with Summicron 50 might find its way into the bag too.
