Oh, the background can be dealt with, although that's usually not my style
to manipulate a photo in that way.  I may do it just for my own kicks, and
maybe even post just to see what you think, but it wouldn't be what I'd
usually do.  There's a feature in Photoshop PS that's I'd like to try. 
It's called "Lens Blur" and it works more like the bokeh of a lens than the
more typical Gaussian blur.
