And she's right. That sort of thing really sucks. For what it worth, I've never thought that this use of 'sucks' had anything to do with the depth of anybody's throat. I've always assumed that it's a back-formation from 'sucker'. So, if Frank's a sucker, he sucks. And from that, anything you may not like, sucks. I've also always thought that 'sucker', as someone na�ve and easily fooled, probably refers to a babe, or suckling. These little theories of mine are just speculation though.
