Dear All, I have been following the discussion about Pentax's future on here with interest. Generally I'm happy with my ist D sure I would like the buffer to be faster, but like all things I always want the latest and the best. In reality the camera should do me another 5 or 6 years then I might buy something better.
I'm also interested that Perntax Digital is being marketted quiet aggressively in Australia. The Pentax is by far the cheapest digital SLR camera. ist DS $957 Canon EOS 300D $1499 Nikon D70S $1500 Will be interesting to see how many more photographers come into the Pentax brand because of the price in Australia.
