This is a crop of the central area of a 6 mega pixel image shot on the
*ist DS, JPG maximum quality, no post processing other that cropping.

Joaquim, that one looks terrible! I wouldn't have believed that it
was taken by any Pentax lens ever. it looks as if the entire image is
smeared to the right, leaving trails to the left.
Is this straight out of the camera, and did you shoot it RAW or JPEG?
If not, what post-processing did you do?

I have a few F and FA SMC zoom lenses:
FA 28-70 F4
F 35-70 3.5-4.5
F 28-80 3.5-4.5
FA 28-80 3.5-5.6
I've been comparing them on the *ist DS at 70mm wide open and on
all of them I found that the color of a distant colorfull object
also appears on the left of the object. Surprisingly the FA 28-80
3.5-5.6 is the best but then it's at F5.6. Is this an issue of
these lenses or of the camera's CCD? This does not happen at all
with my older A70-210mm F4 and A35-105mm F3.5 lenses.
Can you post a couple of sample images?
