Pentax S1a with 55mm 1.8, Tri-X in Microdol most likely. No I was not in the cage. Scary enough getting close enough to get the lens into the cage. Some of the shots were not this sharp. I was happy to find a few sharp ones on the role. This circus came through Nelson, B.C. in 1970 and I do not remember the Lion Tamer's name. He was fairly famous and I think he was mangled by one of the cats no too long after this. I've done some net searches and left a question on www.circushistory.org but no luck. Can anyone here identify him? Just did a big re-organization of the web site. Have a look around. Comments please. Powell
