I think I was tied up with other business for the whole of that weekend,
otherwise I would like to have come over to Oxford for the meeting there.

It's a nice area to live in. It still has a human scale, and people are very
friendly to each other.

That walk you did along the river in front of the old Naval College is one I
do most days, and several times a day at the weekends, usually. It's one of
the reasons I came to live here. The atmosphere on the river is never the
same from one day to the next. I'm gradually building up a collection of
photos of life on the river, which I'll get round to organising some time.
