Thanks, Dave. Riding through the mountains in an open train car is
really cool. Closer we got to Silverton, it got downright cold. heh.
Forgot to mention some "tech data." All of the shots were made with the
IstD and the FA35/2AL, my favorite combo in my ongoing rediscovery of
"normal" focal length photography. Not a lot of time was available for
complex metering decisions, so after a few shots on the train I pretty
much settled on a one stop underexposure setup to minimize blown
highlights. Running on Av priority left me to just make quick DOF and
compositional decisions, which simplified matters greatly.
