I've used Macs they're nice appliances, like toaster ovens. Yes, they
just work, unless something goes badly wrong
then you're just screwed. PC's running Microsoft OS's often have
problems but most are easily correctable by semi skilled
labor. Well until EXP that is. I've found that to be becoming much
more Mac like in both the best and worst ways.

Linux is hard to configure, the Mac OS X just works. No viruses on any
of them.

If you want to know the diference you'll have to buy a Mac. They're not
expensive, you can get a fast G5 inside a very high quality 19" TFT LCD
for less than 1000 USD, including OS X and some useful software, like
iTunes and iPhoto.
